Since its foundation, more than thirty years have passed.

It was a hot day of June 1991 when we, five friends from Torreano - Armando, Lauro, Emilio, Galliano and Giampaolo -, employed in different jobs, founded Valchiarò, the winery that gave life to our love for wine and cultivation of the vine.

Since the beginning, the company stood out for its constant attention in the countryside and in the cellar: the passion conveyed by our fathers and grandfathers has allowed a good combination of ancient knowledge and new technologies, which have led us to constant progress and improvements. 

With the will and determination to continue to better, in 2006 the company moved to the new and larger place in Togliano. Here, in a splendid natural context, we produce white, red, sparkling and sweet wines.

The constant commitment and attention to the range growth and the products' quality has allowed Valchiarò to receive prestigious awards, such as the nomination of our Nexus as Best White Wine of Italy 2020 according to Winesurf, an important online guide. 

But what makes us so happy is to set ourselves new goals: to significantly increase our production maintaining high quality standards, with attention to the environment. As a matter of fact, we are among the first wineries in our region to have joined Natura Vitis, a low environmental impact protocol, under the supervision of the Consorzio Colli Orientali del Friuli Venezia Giulia.

All this to continue to offer you high-level wines, hoping to receive new and satisfying awards.
